It is always important to never have anyone in a trench. For this work, it is done from above. For deeper projects or comm...

💯
You definitely have attention to detail. The string lines to Lazer level. Great video. 👍 my 2nd time watching.
Thank you so much I appreciate the kind words my friend! God bless you and your family :)
As slow as you are we would have ran you off the job site We were expected to lay 350-400 block a day
Tough site. I see you trying to get ahead by working by yourself on your day off or after work. Hard on a guy, when the job is done, try not to count your hours, just move to the next job. Block look fine though, especially under those conditions.
Thank you Jon I really appreciate the feedback and encouragement my friend. God bless!
The best method for fixing the height discrepancies would be to remove the top coarse of block, form both sides of the walls with plywood to a level height, and pour concrete into the forms. It would also cure the lintel issue above the windows. The entire wall could be filled with concrete at the same time if there are concerns over that. The poor appearance of the blockwork could be covered with a parge coat of mortar on both sides. Chances are they were attempting to do things as cheaply as possible. And this is what cheap usually looks like. If it were me, id just be walking away from it, and let them deal with it, rather than have my name associated with it.
That whole job site is a disaster area. How does the builder expect to get lumber anywhere near where its needed?
Well first off, the conditions on the ground should have been addressed before you started your work. If the builder refused to install a temporary stone driveway to the job, and install stone inside as well, then you should have refused to start the job. But then hindsite is always 20/20 isnt it.
Life is all about the choices we make. Unfortunately many of the ones we make arent good ones. including the places we choose to live and attempt to earn a living. Especially at things like the masonry business.
Dave should have wrapped the footings in blankets and straw. So you're not sticking your block to ice. Otherwise great job. You're a true professional sir
Great job I did that stuff when my uncle was still around but when I use too work centerblocks and concrete I use a rubber hammer too tap on the center-block
Steve Martin. "Son be a dentist".

I wish you’d make more videos
